Today I confessed (by email) to my dissertation supervisor that I’d already started this blog.  So Matt, if you’re browsing, hello, and I hope this is cool with you!

The blog is already helping and I’ve not even drafted dissertation’s formal proposal yet.  A few people have been in touch and I’m honestly logging all your leads and ideas. I’m still doing essays that come before starting the dissertation in earnest (and working), but I’m trying to use the time to at least locate or get hold of some of the suggested material.

On the recommendation of a kind professor in the US, I went looking for a book chapter: Sutcliffe and Vogus (2003).  It’s FREE to read on google books as a lot of these things are, rather helpfully. There was also a second hand copy on Amazon and, upon reading the blurb, I decided to buy the actual book for a bargain £19.  I know online is cheaper but I like paper and the thing with second hand academic books is that occasionally one finds that someone intelligent has already marked up the good bits for you.

I’ll add the book, and the articles in the previous blog, to the relevant pages just as soon as I have a little more time!
